What was your favorite childhood cartoon, and why?
Darkwing Duck. Why? An average, ordinary duck turned vigilante against villans, most with super powers. I loved that he also had a home life as Drake Mallard- adopting a daughter, Gosalyn (orphaned after her scientist grandfather was murdered by a villian wanting the anti-gravity ray he had created), and living in suburbia with his crime-fighting partner/pilot, Launchpad McQuack (from Ducktales), next to two outlandish, busybody neighbors, The Muddlefoots. Eventually Darkingwing found a girlfriend in Morgana McCawber, a formerly evil sorceress. The villians were believable, and some down-right scarry... I'm looking at you Paddywack. Veteran voice actor, Jim Cummings, provided the voice for Darkwing/Drake, Herb Muddlefoot, Professor Moliarty, and my favorite villian, Negaduck, Darkwing's evil twin, so to speak.
I also loved Hey Arnold, Muppet Babies, Doug, Rugrats, Scooby Doo, and the Disney animated movie cartoon spin-offs.
